Connect WhatsApp
Access to WhatsApp depends on your plan. Your plan needs to include WhatsApp, or an administrator can grant you access. The screen shows what your plan includes, both before and after you connect.
Add Number offers a few paths:
- Embedded Signup (recommended). Connect or reconnect your business account through Meta's guided signup. This is the fastest path for most businesses.
- Enroll a LeedAgent number in WhatsApp. Take a number from your LeedAgent phone inventory and put it on WhatsApp. The number must not already be active on WhatsApp or in another business account.
- Register a brand-new number. Enter the number, verify it by SMS or voice call, and set a 6-digit two-step PIN.
- Import an existing phone number ID (advanced). For numbers already set up in Meta's tools.
Business-account verification is required before you can register a number.
Connecting a number adds charges to your plan. The dialog shows the exact amounts before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
Manage numbers
The numbers table shows each number with its name, messaging limit, status, and quality rating. From here you can:
- Set one number as the default for sending.
- Edit a display name and mark numbers as test numbers.
- Re-register a number when Meta asks for it.
- Remove a number. This removes it from LeedAgent only, not from Meta.
Use Sync to pull the latest state of your numbers from Meta.
Message templates
Message templates that Meta has approved for your account sync here automatically. Search them and filter by status: approved, pending, or rejected.
Templates are created and managed in your WhatsApp Business account, not in LeedAgent. This screen is a read-only view of what Meta has approved.
Test messages
Send a test WhatsApp message to any number you control to confirm a connection works end to end.
Administrators also get a raw message feed for troubleshooting when something does not arrive as expected.
Your quality rating and messaging limits come from Meta, not from your plan. They start low and rise automatically as you message well: send to people who expect your messages and avoid spam-like sending.
