Getting started guide

Open the guide

The Getting started guide is a page in the LeedAgent app. You can open it in three ways:

• Select Getting started in the sidebar. It is listed under Dashboard while you still have steps to do.
• Select Help & support at the top of the screen, then Getting started guide. This works at any time, even when the sidebar item is gone.
• Select Open the full guide at the bottom of the Get started card on your dashboard.

The first time a new account opens the dashboard, LeedAgent opens this page for you. It happens once. It does not happen if you hid the guide, or if every step is already done.

Your progress

The top of the page shows a bar and a count, such as 3 of 8 done. A step checks itself off when it is done. When every step is done, the page says You are all set. The guide then leaves the sidebar, but you can still open it from Help & support.

The steps

Each step has a title and one line about why it matters. Your account only sees the steps that apply to it. The steps are:

Community

• Create your community. Button: Create.
• Invite your first members. Button: Invite.
• Join your community. Button: Join. This step only shows when there is a community you can join.

Profile and setup

• Add your profile photo. Button: Add photo.
• Choose your language. Button: Choose.
• Choose your industry. Button: Choose.

Business tools

• Add or import your first contacts. Button: Import.
• Connect your phone number. Button: Connect.
• Turn on your AI assistant. Button: Set up.

Support

• Learn how to reach support. This step has no button. Watch its video instead.

The button on a row opens the page where you do that step. When a step is done, its row shows a check mark and the word Done.

Watch a video

Select Watch video on a row to open its video inside the row. Select Close video to hide it. The video does not start on its own.

Videos come in English and Spanish and follow the language of your account. If your account is set to Portuguese, you get the English video.

A step with no video yet shows Video coming soon. You can still do that step now. Select Mark as watched to record that you have seen the step.

When a video plays to the end, the row shows a check mark and the word Watched. Watching does not check off most steps. The exception is Learn how to reach support: once its video is watched, that step is done.

Hide the guide

Select Hide this guide at the bottom of the page to remove it from the sidebar. Hiding it also stops it from opening by itself after you sign in. Your steps stay as they are.

Hiding is not permanent. To open the guide again, select Help & support, then Getting started guide.

The Hide this guide button only shows while steps are still to do.
