ACA Quote

Compare marketplace plans for a household by ZIP code, ages, and income, then read the results in one table.

Who can use it

ACA Quote is in the sidebar, under CRM. It appears on insurance accounts that have ACA quoting available. On any other account, the page says: ACA quoting is not available for this account.

Enter the household

Fill in the form at the top of the page:

  • ZIP code. Five digits.
  • Age and sex of the main applicant.
  • Uses tobacco. Tick it if the applicant uses tobacco.
  • Spouse age (optional) and spouse sex. Add a spouse age to include a spouse.
  • Dependent ages. Type the ages separated by commas.
  • Annual household income (USD).
  • Search radius, in miles. The maximum is 200. The default is 50.
  • Results to show. Pick 3, 5, or 10. The default is 5.

Carriers and metal levels

Once you enter a valid ZIP code, the Carriers list loads the carriers for that area. Tick the carriers you want. Leave every box unchecked to include all carriers.

Under Metal levels, pick Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Silver is ticked by default. Pick at least one level.

Get quotes

Select Get quotes. The button shows Getting quotes while the search runs. The button stays off until the ZIP code, age, income, and at least one metal level are filled in.

A line under the button reports the result, for example Found 5 plans across 3 counties. It can also say No plans matched your search, or that some counties were not fully scanned or could not be reached.

Read the results

The results table lists the top plans, ranked from 1. Each row shows:

  • Carrier and plan name.
  • Metal level.
  • Monthly premium.
  • Deductible.
  • Out-of-pocket max.

A small badge next to the plan name shows the cost-sharing reduction (CSR) level when the plan has one. If the search returns a notice, it appears above the table.
