Communities

A community is a members group you run from LeedAgent: lessons, a feed, events, reviews, and messages in one place, with an invite link to bring people in.

What a community is

Communities have two sides. Members use the Community page to learn and talk. The host, which is you, sets it up, approves who joins, and manages the content and members.

The Community item appears in the sidebar once you are a member of a community, or your account can create one. If your account is in more than one community, a switcher at the top of the page changes between them.

As a member

The Community page has these sections. On a phone they are tabs along the top. On a computer they are in the left sidebar under Community.

  • Classroom. The lessons the host has published.
  • Community. The feed of posts. Filter it with All or Wins.
  • Leaderboard. Member ranks.
  • Members. Shown when the host turns on Member messages, or when you manage the community.
  • Events. Community events.
  • Reviews. Reviews of the community.
  • Messages. Your conversations with the host, and with other members when the host allows it.

To leave, open the ... menu on the community and choose Leave community. The page asks you to confirm first. You can ask to join again later.

Classroom

Classroom is the first section and opens by default. The lessons are grouped by section. On a computer the lesson list is on the left. On a phone, pick a lesson from the Choose lesson menu.

The bar at the top shows your progress, for example "2 of 8 lessons complete". When you have finished every lesson, View certificate appears under it.

A check mark next to a lesson means you completed it. A lock means the lesson is not open yet. It says how many days are left, for example "Unlocks in 3 days". A locked lesson shows only its title and that message.

If the host has not published any lessons, the page says No lessons published yet.

Open a lesson to see:

  • The video, if the host added one. It plays on the page.
  • The lesson text and pictures.
  • Downloads, if the host added files. Select a file to open it.
  • Questions about this lesson.

Mark a lesson complete

Select Mark complete when you finish a lesson. The button changes to Completed. Select Completed again to undo it. Lessons with a quiz have no Mark complete button. Passing the quiz completes the lesson.

Take a quiz

Choose an answer for every question, then select Submit answers. The page shows your score and the pass mark. If you pass, the lesson is marked complete. If you do not pass, the questions you missed are marked. Select Try again to start over. Your answers are cleared.

Ask a question

Type in the box that says Ask a question about this lesson, then select Ask. Your question appears under Questions about this lesson, and replies show under it. Select Load more questions to see older ones.

Use Prev and Next at the bottom of a lesson to go to the one before or after it. The Classroom remembers the last lesson you opened in this community on this browser.

Join a community

Members join from the community's public page, the same page as the invite link. Select Join. If the button says Log in to join, sign in first.

Depending on how the host set it up:

  • Anyone can join. You are in as soon as you join.
  • The host approves each person. Your request waits, and the page says Request sent. The host will review it.
  • Paid communities take you to checkout before you join.

The page can also say the community is full, or that it is not taking new members right now.

Once you are in, you get a welcome email. Two days later you get a short email asking you to say hello. It is not sent if you have already posted by then. The emails are in Spanish when the host set the community page to Español, and in English otherwise. The say-hello email has a Write your introduction link. It opens the community on the Community tab with the post box already open, so you can post right away.

Manage your community

Hosts open the Manage button on the Community page, or Create your community when they have none yet. The manage page is titled My community. It has five sections:

  • Content. Lessons, Posts, and Member kit tabs. Unanswered lesson questions are listed here too.
  • Members & requests. Join requests, the member list, and message reports.
  • Page. The Public page card and Reviews.
  • Pricing & payments. Payments, Member accounts, Community price, Affiliates, and Meta pixel. Only people allowed to manage money see this section.
  • Settings. Who can join, Member messages, and Level names.

Your invite link is your public join page. Open Page, then the Public page card, and select Copy invite link. The button appears once the page is published. View public page opens the same page, so you can check what people see.

Share the invite link wherever you want people to join. There is no separate invite system.

Join requests and members

When you approve each person, new requests appear under Members & requests in Join requests. Select Approve or Decline on each one. The notification bell also links straight to the join requests.

The member list is on the same tab, for the owner:

  • Resend email. Shown for members who have not confirmed their email yet. Select it to send the email again.
  • Remove member. Takes them out of the community.
  • Remove and ban. Takes them out and blocks them from joining again.
  • Unban. Shown on a banned member, so they can join again.
Check who can join first

Set Who can join under Settings before you share the invite link. If you choose Anyone can join, every person with the link is in right away.
